Yuan Shu Bingcha 2006
Tasting Notes:
licorice • vanilla • camphor
Sweet and smooth tea from a 2006 harvest pressed into a "shu" (or ripe - manually forced fermentation) pu-erh bingcha that produces a mellow cup with a fresh spring rain aroma in a boreal forest. Steep it over and over.
Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 1 heaping teaspoon of leaf in 205°F water for 1-4 minutes. Great for multiple infusions; try short steep times and gradually increase times with each consecutive steep. Enjoy!

Yuan Sheng Bingcha 2005
Tasting Notes:
grape • chrysanthemum • sweet hay
For a tea cake that's aged 20 years, this fruity and floral bingcha retains a sweet grape and chrysanthemum flavor and low astringency. Taste the relatively light oxidation and fermentation through a series of short steeps, gong-fu style!
Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 1 heaping teaspoon of leaf in 175°F water for 1 minute. Great for multiple infusions; try short steep times and gradually increase times with each consecutive steep. Enjoy!

Imperial Dancong: Single Trunk
Tasting Notes:
grilled peach • burnt caramel • orchid
The aroma of this high-quality "single trunk" oolong is reminiscent of roasted chicory, while the brew is bright and fruity. A delight to the senses, this heavy-bodied infusion is complex, with notes of peach and caramel and the floral tones of orchids.

This high-grown, rolled oolong has been bitten by leaf hoppers to give it an entirely unique flavor. The mild oxidation and mellow roasting stages help develop deep round notes of grain and spice, with a bright apple aroma and finish.
