This specially produced cultivar, also known as "Sakura Kaori" (cherry blossom aroma) has high levels of coumarin, the same organic compound that defines the fragrance of cherry blossom trees. This tea is lightly steamed to enhance its beautiful fragrance and flavor. Subtle grain and vegetal notes are complemented with a sweet, lingering floral finish.

Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 1 level teaspoon of leaf in 175°F water for 1 minute.
