Special drum roasters are employed to make this Japanese twig tea one of a kind. Sweet green tea stems are dried and roasted to give the cup a deep amber liquor with a smoked hickory aroma, buckwheat sweetness and a lingering finish reminiscent of toasted peanut skins.
Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 2 heaping teaspoons of leaf in 205°F water for 3 minutes. Enjoy!
