ICED TEA

How you brew iced tea has a lot to do with how quickly you want to drink it!

I WANT IT NOW (5-10 MIN)

This is the quickest method to brewing iced tea:
1 - Grab a cocktail shaker & some ice.
2 - Brew a double-strength infusion of the tea you want to drink by doubling the suggested leaf amount, then brewing normally.
3 - Pour this extra-strength tea into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and give it a vigorous shaking. Be careful, the shaker will be hot once you've added the hot tea.
4 - Strain into a glass filled with fresh iced. Enjoy.

I HAVE A LITTLE PATIENCE (1-2 HOURS)

Brew the tea as you normally would, then place in the fridge until it's cool enough to drink. Pour over ice and enjoy!

I'VE GOT TIME AND WANT THE BEST BREW POSSIBLE (8-12 HOURS)

1 - Pour 1/2 gallon of cool water over 1 ounce of tea.
2 - Cover and leave on the counter for 8-12 hours, depending on desired strength.
3 - Strain out the loose tea.
4 - Pour over ice and enjoy.

TEA LATTES

Just add milk and sugar - is that all it really takes? Well, yes and no.
Here are some tips to brewing and preparing a perfect latte at home.

HOT LATTE

1 - Brew a double-strength infusion of the tea you want to turn into a latte by doubling the suggested leaf amount, then brewing normally.
2 - Fill a cup or mug halfway with your hot tea and add the desired amount of sweetener and stir.
3 - Fill the rest of the cup of mug with steamed milk - if you don't have a steamer you can warm the milk on your stove. Enjoy.

ICED LATTE

2 - Add desired amount of sweetener while it's still hot and stir.
3 - Pour this extra-strength, sweetened tea into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and give it a vigorous shaking.
4 - Fill a cup with ice, then fill 2/3 up with chilled, sweetened tea.
5 - Fill the rest of the cup with milk. Enjoy.

THAI ICED TEA

We created this blend to mimic the sweet and spiced beverage served in thai restaurants. It was originally intended for cafes to use quickly, easily, and without the need for condensed milk, which is normally a key ingredient in the drink.

1 - Brew a double-strength Silk Road Spice: Thai Iced Tea infusion by doubling the suggested leaf amount, then brewing normally.
2 - Stir in desired amount of sweetener while it's still hot.
3 - Pour over ice in a glass and leave the top 1/6 empty.
4 - Float enough milk on top to fill the rest of the glass - the higher the fat content the better. Enjoy.
