The Sugarhouse Featuring: Dark: Wuyi |
A complex floral and sweet tea latte with a distinctive flavor profile that will have you brewing this over and over. Dark: Wuyi is a “rock” oolong from China that has a wonderful minerality that lends itself well to a beverage that is sweetened and milked.
INGREDIENTS:
2 heaping tsp loose Dark: Wuyi tea
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tbsp vanilla syrup
INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - steep 2 heaping teaspoons of Dark: Wuyi in 6 ouncecs of boiling water for 3 minutes, remove tea, stir in maple syrup while still hot.
2 - add 2 ounces of warmed milk for a hot latte OR 2 ounces of cold milk and ice for a iced latte
