Da Hong Pao

According to legend, leaves from the original tree from which this cultivar comes, brought the Emperor back from an extreme illness - to show his gratitude for the tree, he requested a big red robe (“da hong pao” in Chinese) be hung on its branches, a very high honor. Since the times of the legend, this rock oolong is considered a rare treasure, with a complex fruity and floral liquor that tastes of lilies, orange marmalade, and whole grain toast.
Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 2 heaping teaspoons of leaf in 195°F water for 1-3 minutes. Enjoy!

Taiwanese Breakfast
BLACK TEA

This rare and unique black tea coming out of Taiwan, usually known for its oolong mastery, is a wild blend of tasting notes - crème brûlée, cocoa powder, and apricot preserves. Using the Assamica varietal, this breakfast tea is strong enough to hold up to milk and sugar, it also holds up to multiple steeps if a gaiwan is more your pace.
Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 2 heaping teaspoons of leaf in 205°F water for 4 minutes. Enjoy!

GREEN TEA
