This lot of Wakoucha or "Japanese Red Tea" is a blend of consecutive lots produced from the Yabukita cultivar. The aging contributes to the bright fruity flavors and aromas of juicy blackberries, burnt sugar, and brandy with a soft raisin like finish.

Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 1 heaping teaspoon of leaf in 195°F water for 3 minutes.

Ingredients: Camellia sinensis leaves.
