Green Teas
Plucked from the Camellia Sinensis plant, green tea is lightly dried and minimally fired to prevent oxidation and retain its natural green color. The leaves are then rolled either by hand or machine into their recognizable shapes. Green tea is high in polyphenols (an antioxidant), and purportedly has many health benefits, including a reduced risk of cancer and heart disease. Green teas contain mild to moderate amounts of caffeine.
