Black Teas

Plucked from two varieties of the Camellia Sinensis plant, black tea is heavily processed tea through withering, oxidizing, rolling and drying methods. Commonly called red tea in China because of the copper colored liquor produced during infusion, black tea flavors range from bold and smoky to nutty and sweet. Black tea contains moderate amounts of caffeine.
